Hotel is 10 minute walk from bus station. NOTE: you do not have to walk on the busy scary road, you can walk along the alleys of Fira to the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room is functional and good value for the price. If you want romance then strongly consider Oia.

For the third time we stayed at this lovely family-run hotel, and again we were very pleased. The room was very clean and comfortable with a balcony. We could have breakfast out by the pool, or inside the cozy breakfast room. We chose the breakfast room, which we liked. The hotel was a pleasant short walk from Fira's center and the bus station. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. They even could provide a plug adapter to the Greek electric outlets, for use at the hotel. A great place to stay for a visit to Santorini.

Saludos!

The hotel was absolutely terrific. The service was fantastic - the family running the hotel were so friendly and helpful! The only reason location is "very good" and not "excellent" in my rating is because it wasn't at the caldera. Otherwise, only a 15 min walk from the bus station and caldera, 10 min walk from center of town. We had a balcony that looked onto the city. Room was very clean and lovely.
My friend and I walked back and forth to the bus station daily at different hours of the day and eve/night and always felt safe. It was an easy walk - hotel was very easy to find once we were first taken there by the family.

Spent 3 nights here and really liked this friendly family run hotel. The location was great as far as i was concerned, although you dont have view of the Clardra,(neither do you have a crazy price!)you do have an excellent view of the rear of the island and its just far enough from the main tourist area to avoid the noise and motorbikes, etc but still only around 10 mins walk to main square. You also get a lovely pool and a nice balcony ,esential for cooling off (35 degrees). The rooms were spotless as was the pool area and the girls that run it friendly and helpful,at under €50 a night i thought this was an absolute bargain!

I travelled to Santorini fro a friends wedding and was very satisfied with this choice of accomodation. Excellent service from the staff, Georgia and Irini are both very helpful and friendly. The hotel and breakfast was basic but plentyful. Very clean rooms and nice pool area. Their prices are very reasonable and the loction of the villa is excellent, just 5-10 minutes walk from Fira town center. I would definately stay there again. For me it was everything it needed to be.

On my recent trip to Santorini (7/20/08), I accidentally walked over a mile in the opposite direction of my hostel. I found myself on a small road, far from any taxis. I went into a small fruit stand to ask for directions: though the owner barely spoke English, he made it his mission to help me. After a little while, a local couple showed up at his store to purchase some fruit. The two volunteered to drive me home--they even gave me a watermelon wedge! :-) The couple drove me to the exact location of my hostel...turns out I was over 4 miles away from it, haha.
This two who provided me the ride are Irini Kohsipi and Georgia Dornezi. They run the Villa Alizea. Even though I was at a different hostel, these two still drove me straight to my destination. While I didn't have the chance to patronize their hostel, I can only imagine how well they treat their own guests. Thanks, again! Sorry it took so long for me to write this review. :-)
